Ebac RS485 connections

Ebac heat pumps have the RS485 connections within the indoor controller, using a connector block at the top middle of the control PCB.

In the Ebac indoor controller make the following RS485 Modbus connections:

Ebac in the middle of the RS485 cable run	Ebac at the end of the RS485 cable run
Guidance Connect both screened drain wires together, insulate and carefully locate it at the edge of the PCB to reduce the chance of a short-circuit. Do NOT use the Ebac "0V" connection for this purpose  RS485 termination within the Passiv Programmer (see the Installation guide page 9)	Guidance RS485 termination within the Ebac indoor controller (see Image 1) RS485 termination must only occur at the end of the RS485 cable run
